Nick’s journey began with his first experience in physiotherapy during an undergraduate placement in 2021, where he discovered his passion for helping others through movement and manual therapy.
Nick completed both his Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics with a minor in psychology and Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa. His approach to care is grounded in evidence-based movement-focused strategies and manual therapy.
Nick served four years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a reservist with 33 Combat Engineer Regiment, where he developed a strong sense of dedication, discipline, and resilience—qualities that he carries into his professional practice. He proudly promotes physical activity and a healthy lifestyle through his own pursuits, including a powerlifting style of training and long-distance running, having completed a marathon, 2 ultramarathons and 100km run which took him 10h12min to complete. His favourite sport is combat sports, and he is currently diving into the world of triathlon, training for Ironman 70.3.
Nick has broad experience working with athletes during his last 3 years of studies, having served as a student trainer for the GeeGees hockey team and providing sport coverage for rugby, soccer, ringette, kickboxing, and muay thai. He holds Level 1 Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Sport First Responder certifications.
Nick’s biggest goal is to help people get out of pain, restore function and provide them with the tools to make life-changing decisions by incorporating physical activity into their daily life.
